Course description
Where plot meets character, and action meets emotion – story is what makes your novel tick. In this engaging three-hour workshop, led by award-winning novelist and dramatist Jake Arnott, we’ll look at practical ways to get to the heart of the story. Through creative exercises, the study of examples from fiction, and lively discussion, we’ll explore story structure from the beginning, through the middle, and right to the end, gaining valuable insight into shaping a novel, and investigating one of fiction’s most crucial questions - what’s the story?
