Course description
Whether seeking an agent or planning to publish independently, knowing and directly connecting with readers is an important skill for emerging authors. In this dynamic, practical three-hour workshop, on which spaces are limited to eight participants, you’ll learn how to identify who your audience is, where your book sits and which titles and authors to compare it to. You’ll explore how online and social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and Substack can work for you, and discover how to find and engage with reviewers and early readers, as well as discussing other ways to help your book stand out from the crowd and boost your profile as an author.
